Linus grew up in the south of Brisbane and has lived and worked in Logan. Linus is married to Jacki and together they have three young children Jack, Caitlin and Lucy. After high school Linus completed a BA and a Graduate Diploma of Education at Griffith University and he is a registered High School teacher of English and History. Linus is passionate about education and has worked in a number of Queensland schools, as well as an exchange teacher of English at a Junior High School in Japan. He went on to study at Harvard University completing a Masters in Public Administration and has tutored students at Griffith University.
Linus is passionate about making our communities better and he previously worked for the Labor Party encouraging people to get more involved in making Queensland an even better place to live.
As the Member for Logan in the Queensland State Parliament Linus works to represent the people of the Logan Electorate. He works to get better services, improved roads and funding for local schools and health services. He serves as a Member of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly, and Chairs the Economics and Governance Committee.
