Lance McCallum - Fighting for a fair go
46-year-old Lance McCallum has a proud history of fighting for a fair go for working people.
Brought up in outer suburban Brisbane, Lance is well aware of the issues facing Bundamba, he is and will be a fierce fighter for jobs, decent health, world class education, a safer community and Bundamba’s share of infrastructure spending.
Having worked in senior government and community sector roles, Lance has the skills and experience to hit the ground running and deliver the best results for Bundamba.
Lance has a long history of standing up for workers’ rights through his work with various trade unions leading campaigns to assist working people secure better wage outcomes and conditions in their workplaces.
Lance was proud to campaign hard alongside Labor branch members and supporters, Unions and community to stop the Newman LNP government's asset sales agenda.
Having put himself through university externally while also working full time, Lance understands the need for a world class education system that gives every kid a chance.
Lance will use his energy and experience to create more local jobs and drive economic development.
Lance will fight to make sure Bundamba gets a fair go.
