Stirling Hinchliffe for Sandgate
Our community needs an experienced voice, not just a government mouthpiece.
Stirling Hinchliffe and his wife Megan live in Sandgate with their three children aged seventeen, fourteen and nine. Currently with a training company, Stirling has worked in public and private sector jobs and run his own small business.
Most significantly, Stirling is an experienced community advocate having served as State MP for close to six years when he built a reputation for delivering for his community. As a State Government Minister, he oversaw the development of affordable housing choices at Fitzgibbon Chase, a strong regional plan balancing economic growth and protection of our local environment and delivered employment programs including Skilling Queenslanders for Work.
In our local community, Stirling is a junior coach and committee member at Northside Wizards Basketball, a member of the Einbunpin Festival committee and has enjoyed volunteering with his family at SANDBAG.
Stirling is passionate about every Queenslander enjoying a fair go. To this end, he is committed to supporting quality education opportunities, universal health care and a growing economy creating new jobs.
