Melissa McMahon

Melissa McMahon has been the Member for Macalister since 2017.

As a former police officer of 20 years, Melissa McMahon knows the importance of listening to and serving the community. Raising her 3 children locally, Melissa understands the social and financial pressures facing many families and is working to secure better services and cost of living relief for the local area.

Since being elected Melissa has worked with our school communities to secure big builds for our schools. She knows that access to quality education and active lifestyles at an early age sets our community up for a successful and healthy future. Melissa has a key focus on promoting equity and diversity in our community so that no one is left behind.

Our local area is on the cusp of its next wave of development and Melissa is fighting to ensure that our community is a big winner when it comes to infrastructure, services and jobs. Whether it’s delivering road, school, sport, health or community service upgrades, Melissa McMahon is making sure Macalister is primed and ready.
