Paul Hoolihan - State Member for Keppel

Paul was first elected in February 2004.

Before being elected, Paul operated his own legal practice in North Rockhampton for 23 years. Prior to that, he worked in the Justice Department.

His involvement in community issues includes environmental care and education. He also has social welfare as a special interest through his work with family law clients and Legal Aid. In addition, Paul maintains an interest in policing and criminal law issues through his assistance to Neighbourhood Watch.

Paul and his wife, Elizabeth, have five sons.

Situated in the Rockhampton Regional Council area, the Capricorn Coast region is the third fastest growing region in Australia

Paul's interests include sport, particularly Rugby Union and Rugby League (presently Paul is Patron of both CQU Norths Chargers Rugby League Club and Capricorn Coast Rugby Club) and junior sport, environmental care, amateur theatre and horse racing."
